Advanced Functionality for Finding Imaged Documents

In response to suggestions from our customers, who store almost two billion documents in iMagio, we developed iMagio Search, a product that adds significant flexibility to the process of finding and retrieving imaged documents.

Hierarchical "File Tree" Queries

In addition to being able to display search results in a standard grid format, iMagio® Search also has the ability to display search results in a tree view or "hierarchical" structure. This new structure is often more intuitive for documents that are easily grouped into categories.

Open Multiple Documents Simultaneously

iMagio Search will allow you to open multiple documents at the same time. This feature, combined with the docking windows feature, allows you great flexibility in viewing documents. You can view documents stacked, side-by-side, and on multiple monitors.

Dockable Windows

Like to see your search results on the top of the screen rather than the bottom? Want the search window to automatically hide when you are not using it? All windows in iMagio Search can be moved to different locations on the screen. iMagio Search will remember these locations, keeping all of the windows right where you like them every time you use the application.

Enhanced Thumbnails

Thumbnails are crisper and clearer than ever in iMagio Search. Documents that contain color graphs, charts, or photos can be identified quickly and easily by clicking on the Display Thumbnails button on any image viewer. In iMagio Search, thumbnail images download in the background without interrupting your work, saving you valuable time and increasing your productivity.

Improved Upload Capabilities

iMagio Search allows you to upload many files simultaneously while you continue to work. There is no need to wait for an upload to complete before uploading another file, opening a document, or running a search. Have you ever needed to upload a document that was thousands of megabytes in size? iMagio Search supports very large file uploads and downloads. If you need to pause an upload for any reason, or if your computer loses power or its internet connection during an upload operation, it's no problem: you can continue uploading the file where you left off rather than having to start all over again. Simply upload the file again, and iMagio Search will remember where the upload stopped, resuming the upload from that point.

Advanced Third-Party-Document Support

Most third-party documents, such as Adobe Acrobat PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, open in their native applications directly inside of iMagio Search. This allows you to view multiple documents in different formats in one place, rather than having to switch among windows.

Intelligent Memory

iMagio Search learns from you as you use it, remembering your most-recent repository, query, and other settings, saving you from having to re-enter common values.
